I'll probably pick one up while handing out flyers and talking to shop owners about this.
I won't be delivering flyers to that evil Extra Place. I gave that Bespoke owner a shot by trying her chocolates and she ran me out of the store because I stepped inside a couple of seconds. "NO DOGS!" - I can still hear that shrill screech in my nightmares. Plus the candy was WAY over-priced (3 pieces for $7.00) and not that great, actually.
My new daily routine is to pick up lunch at B&H Dairy. I'm on a mission to only patronize the classics with diligence. And their challah bread is from heaven.
Don't forget to laugh hard about this hysterical AIG "re-branding" - No one will ever know!

The folks who attend Sunday's Vanishing City will all be entered to win this cool new CD called "Mott & Broome" after the presentation. It's music inspired by and created in the neighborhood by Steve Elson. He'll be doing his own launch party soon.
I'm going to get me a Slice of literary culture tonight.

Ha. I like this presentation.
Cute and funny to-do list!
I think you're being a little harsh on Bespoke Chocolate - I'm a longterm dog owner who has watched DOH step up the ticketing and fines on dowtown cafes/restaurants for letting dogs in over the past few years. None of my longstanding places will let me bring my extremely well-behaved dog in anymore - and they know us. Bedside manner aside, she probably has had the daylights scared out of her by DOH.
Okay, I'll give it another shot if I'm in the area. We gotta follow the rules, I guess. Still, paying $2.50 per bon bon seems outrageous.
Try the strawberry balsamic.
