So I'm mincing down Lafayette this morning, and the nicest lady I've ever met says, "Are you Kirby?" I confirm and she says she was the one who defended the chocolate shop on Extra Place on why they didn't want dogs in there. She's a long time EV resident and said stores can't help it that the health department has come down so hard about that law. I agreed. She then asked me if I knew who EV Grieve was and said I didn't, but I really like the blog. "Me too!" she replied. "Out of all you neighborhood bloggers, that's my favorite!" Nothing like the truth to wake you up in the morning.
I've had to face the music and realize I'm going to be unable to post much this summer, but please do check out all the bloggers on the right for updates on neighborhood happenings.
